Is He Not Strong Enough?

Is He Not Strong Enough?

A Poem by Tim Lawless
"

Just a poem I wrote for a friend of mine who's been going through some rough stuff.

"

When you lose the comfort of pain,

When you can't find relief in a knife,

Just know that I'm here,

Just believe that I'm here.

When the pain is just too much,

When you feel you've have enough,

I hope you know that there's more,

Than this pain that you feel.

If you ever believe one thing,

Believe what I'm saying,

There is One whose wrists were scarred,

And marked just for you.

I can't claim to know all you've been through,

But I know that He's watching over you.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt,

That He knows your sorrow and agony.

All this pain,

Shouldn't be yours to face alone.

Because no relief will ever come from that knife,

But no sorrow is beyond His understanding.

I... I am left comforted and happy. I adore you and thank you. *hugs tightly* I know.
And lately I have been okay. Thank you sooo sooooo much.
