The Difference

The Difference

A Poem by Tim Lawless

I want to make a difference. That's all I want.

I want to tell the whole world about Christ.

I want them all to know about the hope to be found in Him.

Just one person. That's all I'm asking.

I could die happy if I knew that I made a difference for one solitary person.

Because it has to start with one person.

Just like Christ went to people where they were.

He started with individuals, and built a Kingdom.

All I want is to be able to say that I helped add one person to that Kingdom.

It just doesn't seem right to have this Hope,

And keep it to myself.

Just one person.

But it seems like nobody listens.

Well, if it makes you feel better, talking to you has taken me out of the little grey area I was sitting on the fence in, to being saved.
So..just so you know, you've already affected one person. More than I could ever explain or thank you for.
