I can't see...

Something i thought of when i heard about a friend's predicament, and i wished i could'vee been there for them both better. Alex, Tara...I'm sorry.

...Is this the world we've come to?

Are we that self absorbed, we're willing to push away our friends to further our own needs?
When did the world become so dark, so threatening...so cold?

Someone wise once said 'All that glitters is not gold'...were they being sarcastic, or were they talking about how friends are more valuable than real gold and priceless jewels?

I can't see the world any more...everything has grown so dark and solitary.

No more the united...
No more the friends we once were...

Why can't I see the world God had envisioned?
When did I lose my way?

I can't see the world anymore...

When did I lose my friends, who were my light of the world I once knew?

I can't see the world anymore...
Because I can't see or hear my friends....
I have lost my light....

I'm sorry.

This poem is beyond amazing and honestly many of us have had a thought like this come over our minds, we lose site of our friends for different reasons but real friends will show you who you are when even you don't seem to remember.

ummm....*sheepish* no. A few girls in the US i know had a fight and refuse to speak to each. It made me realize that sometimes we humans can be callous and forget that our friends need to mean more than what money does, because they're better.
