Time May.

Time May.

A Poem by Ian
"

I wrote this a few years back, its interesting to read a piece from the past. I can still hear the voice of that person when i read this poem, the trials that he had not faced yet. Crazy Crazy

"

Time may stand still
as we think of that cherry sloped hill
where the covered mustangs tiptoe the rocky shore
and the fiddled bags lay around in a solidified bore

Time may sit paused
as we ponder why what we have done had caused
the powerlined terrain to turn a horrid stuck plasm
where memories go down not the lane but a desloate chasm

Time may lay curled
as our heaven is seen hurled
the peak of perfection is nothing but lies
as the elongated river of adam dries

Time may burrow deep
as my hacked medicine as of late seeps
Family for now and family for later
The giver of life is also the taker

Time may no longer need apply
as we are lowered to a dusty high
the last great solo has just begun
and this duet for the ages must be sung

Time may stand still
as we think of that cherry sloped hill
where the covered mustangs tiptoe the rocky shore
and the fiddled bags lay around in a solidified bore
