Misery

Misery

A Poem by RedRoomXO
"

What do you see?

"
I glance into her eyes
Peak into her soul
Strong yet alone, so far from home
What once was, now I feel will never be
Knife turning slow misery

Attempting to hide the truth
But my third eye can see
Mutual feelings
Knife turning slow misery

Emotional damage, past life regrets
Head just above water
Do you feel it yet?

To walk this world alone
In love and war
All is fair
I’d be lying if I said “I don’t care”
Hang on and we both drowned
But letting go isn’t so easy
Knife turning slow misery.
