Death of Beauty

Death of Beauty

A Poem by Amber Kelleher

Roses are Red
The thorns are painful
Bury it on my death bed
Because love is pitiful
She sure was a beauty
turned by a beast
She used to be a cutie
Living in the east
Only knowing peace
Always full of hope
Confused when it all died in a lease
Happiness was stripped from her with a rope
She died from herself
I know because I saw it myself

The rhyme of poem is very well. The structure of sonnet is amazing. Altogether a beautiful work by a poet. Keep writing. We expect such more from you. 😊😊
