China Blue

China Blue

A Poem by Poppy
"

Fading Love

"
Ink stipples dark the empty page
annulled fervent conversations -
when became my vanishing point?
Silhouettes tumble fallen curls
like colourless tarnished halos
Tracing patterns - cigarette smoke
whispers deep they burn
Who are you " I ask
if you loved me,
surely I should know your name
I prayed, delayed the setting of the sun
embossed proud the culture
of a faith I feel no kin
Empty eyed those carcases saw my sin
hands and feet unaccustomed to abstraction
vessels of grey stallions sigh
all hearts gets broken " painted - china blue...
