Real winnerA Poem by Red"All winners can't be 'Real Winners'....."We’re the soldiers in the battle of life With victory’s lust blinding out eyes Wishing to win in an unknown fight Swinging swords of vengeance with all our might Winner is what we all want to be But being a real winner is about what you feel. Winner is not the one who holds the cup. Blowing his trumpet, treating others like dust. But the one who might lose the fight Still learn from mistakes and acts really wise. One who don’t lay fingers of failure on brothers, Takes responsibility of not only his but of others Winner is what we all want to be. But being a real winner is not what all can be. The one who stands up after every hard fall Down to Earth, he’s the winner for all Prouder than the peacock, With words intoxicating as killer bee’s sting Can he be the winner, the winner who’s mean? Winner is what we all want to be. But being a real winner is not what all can be The winner who says “it was all me” Is the winner whose unworthy .Bathed in glee. But the one who touches his mother’s blessing feet Might lose as someone but a winning son will be He’ll believe in almighty and be other’s belief He don’t need any crown as he was always a king. Winner is what we all want to be But being a real winner is not what all can be. The winner who wins battle and laughs at all, Won’t be loved and live between grey shaded walls. A real winner is the one, who might lose every battle he fights Still hopes for victory, Alas! Wins the battle of life He will be loved till the sun from east will rise Cause he stood for others. He was people’s knight. Winner is what we all want to be But being a real winner is not what all ‘Winner’s can be. © 2014 RedAuthor's Note
