In the CourtroomA Poem by Crimson ApplesThere is no true right or wrong, Only differing eyes in which we see through, And different people who we speak too. In this man's eyes, he had not done anything, Anything wrong. He says it was an instinct, simply self-defence. And I could agree. It depends on what he was thinking, what he was feeling. But here, inside the court room, those thoughts, those feelings, they don't matter. Everyone now sees through the eyes of the law. We judge based on actions, The facts. And those facts are, that a man, was killed. He was murdered, and this man, sitting in this very room, although he may have held no ill intent, killed him.
