PROLOGUE ▪ EUGOLORPA Chapter by Queen SanchezPrologue His eyes were fixated on me, bottomless black orbs. From the distance, his gaze pierced through mine like a knife and I cried out mentally. Someone please help me. I can't move a single limb or a finger, only my eyes. Where am I? Scratch that. I don't want to know. Something told me that it'd be my death if I asked. His luxurious jet black hair swayed perfectly in synchronization with the wind, distracting me for a second. The floor - length, plain white clothing that hugged his figure blown gently by the wind. The creepy silhouette brought shivers down my spine and I shuddered. The temperature turned ice cold and I tried hugging my body, but I found myself paralyzed on the spot. Please, someone! Someone help me! I try screaming. I couldn't take his stare. It told me something promising. A scary promise I'm better off without knowing. He observed me like I was some experiment and that scared me. What is he going to do to me? He stood there, unmoving and his eyes fixated on me and me only. He's scaring me. Is this another nightmare? I prayed it was. My gaze never left his, and so did his. We were staring at each other, like sending unseen messages with our eyes. The silence between the two of us tortured me. I'm not used to this kind of silence. An enigmatic silence. Who is he? I have never seen him in my whole life. What does he want from me? I'm too scared to know. He looked so near yet so faraway; like a star that looks so near and reachable but in reality, it's light years away. His hand reached out and his features turned friendly. He's encouraging me to take it. How can I take that when I'm so faraway? Is he out of his mind? My feet moved and I panicked. What's happening to me? It felt like my body had a mind of its own. My heart began beating a loud drum solo when I realized I was nearing the edge of the building. My hand reached out to take his and I tried moving it down. My mind didn't have the control over my body anymore - I felt possessed. Help. I mouthed to him, but he only smiled encouragingly. Then the next thing I knew, I was falling.
