Stephen; Gone but not Forgotten.

Stephen; Gone but not Forgotten.

A Poem by One Last Drop...
"

This was written after a close cousin of mine passed away.

"

He may be gone;

But he is not forgotten.

He was a friend, a son;

A brother and a cousin.

He was so brave;

Always fighting for his life.

And he managed to pull through;

Only to lose his young life.

So now he is gone;

That optimistic cousin of mine.

I can only now hope;

That wherever he is, he is fine.

Author's Note

One Last Drop...
Stephen passed away on the 24th of February 2008. He was fourteen years old, and had just won his battle with cancer about a month before. There was nothing anyone could do to keep him alive when his time came. I guess the spirits wanted him back early. This is my way of remembering and honouring him. I live for both of us now, as much as I can.
