Long Haiku-What Had Once Blossomed

Long Haiku-What Had Once Blossomed

A Poem by Reckless Ethereal

How do you expect
The one who showed me freedom
To just disappear

You linger within,
Sewed tight into the fabric,
That makes up my thoughts

You were the first one,
I ever would have changed for,
And that means a lot

You gave me such life,
Hope I had given up on,
Until you saved me

Everything was fine,
We had the best memories,
Smiles that stayed bright

I shouldn't have hoped,
It was foolish of me to,
I did anyway

I saw so much once,
I could practically hold it,
Our life together

I gave you my heart,
Sometimes it isn't enough,
When life hits you hard

You had so much fear,
I was one of those terrors,
You were never scared

Now you pull away,
I'm know I'm supposed to now,
It's not that easy

Something about you,
I can't find it anywhere,
But you found someone
