Small Writing Sample of BookA Story by RebeccaSueQuestioning brought on by fear. This part will probably be used in my book when the main character has hit a wall.We live life wanting to be heard. Constantly desiring recognition when no one notices, no one screams out. We begin to feel the youth in ourselves and fear we have made ourselves invisible. Every decision lacks it's flare for the beauty you wish to capture. A smile crosses your face, but another just turns to walk away. Where do we find ourselves when our dreams die? Behind our eyes, but not within ourselves. Coldness, a breeze grown to be familiar, an existence spent walking amongst flames that carry no warmth, just ambers of pain. How do we find ourselves when fear has enraptured us..so content in the moment of realizing we are not to blame. Let us place burden on what we fear as the sole cause.
We live amongst greatness, too afraid to be touched. Time has made us warriors of the sole purposes of our hearts. Still we hide with our armor around our shoulders, in caves and beneath lakes, we stay put. Moments pass us quickly, we see them but we don't grab ahold. What makes our hearts so worried by our potential and so consumed by thoughts of a flaw nature at our core. When will a time exist, where we are more ourselves than an animal created to survive. © 2013 RebeccaSueAuthor's Note
