Positivity

We all deal with our own 'demons' and fight to stay positive... this poem is my feelings on what so many go through on a daily basis...and how I deal with it :)

 Positivity... it is the way,

It is possible throughout each day.

All you have to do

Is make up your mind

Put on that smile

Always be kind

Think before you speak

If you don’t, someone might shriek

If you’re not happy

There’s a reason why

Don’t push yourself

Just have a good cry

Healing is a scary thing

Especially with a  broken wing

Find a way

Go mend that heart

Take that dream

Make a new start

Do you miss flying high?

Just look towards the big bright sky

Positivity…

It is a choice

Come on now,

Listen to that voice!

So when you’re feeling oh so sad

Look higher up, lassie or lad

Smiling…

It’s not so hard

Come on now

Let down your guard!

There’s so much more

Worth waiting for

Patience,

It is a virtue

Come on now,

It’s up to you!

Tomorrow morning, when you wake

Be happy… for goodness sake!

Your life…

It is so real

It’s all about

How you feel!

Listen to these words so wise

It’s written in your Father’s eyes

Take into heed

This… oh so wonderful deed

For all, He promised… just for you

Don’t let go, just be true!
