Who, Why, What, When, Where, How

Who, Why, What, When, Where, How

A Poem by Rebecca J Martin
"

Poetry, sad, sorrow, life

"
What can I be What good have I done What battles have I fought What wars have I won
Where am I now Where will I be Where are my dreams Where's my destiny
When will I know When will I see When is forever When on bended knee
Who am I really Who will I be Who could be no one Who might be me
Why am I breathing Why do I dream Why is it possible Why's there a scheme
How will I get there How will I fly How is the answer How will I die

Truly some of the most interesting questioning I’ve read in a long time. I love the way you group your pondering into stanzas with different starting words for each. The way this sounds when we read it is very pleasing in a musical way. Some of your questions are mundane & some are very surprising. This mix of ideas keeps the reader off balance a little bit, wondering how to interpret these questions. There’s a ton of imagination here (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Very many questions asked, but none answered. It seems to me the speaker is taking a good hard look at herself and what her life has meant up to now. I had the image in my mind of a pair of scales and weights, maybe you are trying to get some balance into some areas which you consider need adjustments made. An interesting read Rebecca.

The who, what, where, when and how of life. A never ending question. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to the questions. Thank you Rebecca for sharing the amazing poetry.
