Twisted

Twisted

A Poem by Bec

The hurt, the pain

The blame, the cries

Whatever it is

Don’t give me anymore

You charge towards me

Using  all of the weapons

You have in full force

The sword has been twisted

Everything here

Is twisted, twisted

I walk, I run

I hide, I run

You turn off the lights

And use eyes that are glowing

You're staring me down

The light has been twisted

Everything here is twisted twisted

Jumping

Leaping

i've turned into an animal

I'm giving to you

The roar of a lion

Using all the defences

I have in full force

I come at you

I'm making a sound that's directed at you

The sound of my roar has been

Twisted, twisted

Everything here

Has been twisted, twisted

Powerful imagery and I like the personification of becoming an animal as well, very nice. The repetition of 'twisted' is also very nice - I'm a stickler for repeating words, especially when it's in the title. Very nicely done.
