Wish the Rain Would Stop

Wish the Rain Would Stop

A Poem by Bec

She is confused
Doesn't even know herself
How can she say
What she's feeling right now?
When it's all just a blur
Too much, too hard to handle

She knows this for sure
After all that's happened
She can't take much more
Wish the rain would stop
and the pain would go away
How much more can she scream?
How many tears  are left?

She's had enough
Of darkness that's surrounding her
How can she face
the trial ahead
When she's already been tested and tried?

She will tell you now
After all she's been through
She can stand no more,
of any pain or hurt for her

She's had her share
of being the lost sad girl
Much more she could not bare
Don't ignore her when she shouts
"I can't take much more of this
I just wish the rain would stop
and the pain would go away"
Please just don't ignore that girl
The one who's crying in the rain
Alone, upset and desperate for
Someone to hold her in their arms
And never, ever let her go
