Who is that woman?A Poem by Beck LouiseLike I said poetry is not my strong point but this is very personal.
Who is that woman I see?
She stares ever blank She wanders always aimlessly Only looking, never seeing I am but a shadow to her a passing flash a glimpse of her past Only there, never moving Who is this woman they taunt She cries ever more She wanders, never knowing Always scorned, never belonging They are but shadows to her passing flashes remaining in her past only there, never moving Who is that woman you see? the bravest one you know showing not any weakness only strong, never crying You are a light to her Giving her strength The wings beneath her always there, never leaving © 2012 Beck LouiseFeatured Review
