All that I am

I haven't written any poetry in a while...you can tell

I'm a leaf,

with fall two weeks away

I'm the sky

sometimes blue, sometimes grey

I'm the rain

drenching us from above

I'm everyone

who's ever fallen in love

I'm the sun

shining over all you do

I'm the blade

cutting these scars into you

I'm the desparation 

in your voice asking me to stay

but I am myself

and now I must walk away
