I'll be fine without you

This is written for someone who I thought was a friend...but fucked me over. Yeah, cool.

I look at you with tears in my eyes.

You smile back, twisted and uncaring.

How can you be so casual,

after taking all I had?

I'm left with nothing at all

and you just keep taking

not looking back or regretting

how you broke me down again

You made a fool of me 

as I naively trusted you again.

You never needed my permission

To do exactly as you please

You don't care how I am

Why do you even ask?

I'm in f*****g ruins,

but don't let that stop you.

I'm not upset though,

I won't shed one tear.

You won't be fine without me,

but I'll be great without you.

I truly like this, since I've had a friend or two that truly treated me like crap! I'd apologize even though I wasn't wrong at all. I'm just a forgiving person though. They always would run over me and try making a fool out of me. I'd have to admit they truly took me forgranted, that's what it seems like in your poem. You seem like a great friend and should be lucky to have you! :) Well done. I love how you penned those emotions full of pure anger out very well.

YES! I love this, you show that girl how you're life will be just great without her in it. I've had this happen and it's not pleasant but once you get over it, you're all like ' at least I've still got friends and I'll be happy with it' you don't just let your life fall to ruins over someone else. You pick yourself off and dust off the pain and viola! a brand new you with a new attitude for life! well at least that's how I am haha. Very nice portrayal of a broken friendship. Lovely work, amazing write as usual :) keep it up!
