Don't let people in

Don't let people in

A Poem by Beck Louise

If you don't let people in
they can't hurt you

If they don't know you
They can't judge you

If you don't let them in
they can't break you

but if they hold no power
they can't hold you

If they don't judge you
they can't appreciate you

if you don't let people in
they can't love you.

All so true. This poem has a good low too. Great work. Keep it up!

Interesting writing, great job! It was very well written with a smooth flow. Food for thought and easily relatable, it's a great counter to my poem "The Black Widow Spider". Awesome job!
