Guess the recent theme for extra points

It's been a while

since I waved the flag of hatred against our own kind

and I like to think that was once my inspiration

and if it was

what A stubborn fool I was...

Innocence in youth is an acceptable term

but when you rely on anger to fuel the words you spew

it can cause so many people pain

and others happiness.

The followers, blind folded with cloth and resin

that cast compliments without meaning or structure

all that time ago.

Have we gotten better now?
I have taken down the red flag that blew outside my window

for quite some time now, maybe its time for me to move on.

Find something else to weave my words into

since my fingers are numb from strumming

and my wrists are sore from drawing

my voice is rasped 

and my eyes are sagged

I think now

its time to lay my head to rest

close my eyes and mouth

and let my brain shut down.

Okay...Honestly I don't know why I wrote this. I am in the un-inspired part of my writers block but still want to produce stuff...so put up with the stupid randomness and maybe I will think something good up overnight
(it is 3:30am over here right now as-well)
