Like a blur

Love is nothing but a blur, something you thought you saw and thought you heard.

Like a shadow in the dark its all around you but you can't see it.

Like hearing your name called in a crowd but you're not sure if you hear it.

Nothing but myths, legends, and old wives' tales,

used to give false hope to young boys and girls who are only doomed to fail.

Love is nothing but blur, caught in the happenstance of a passing glance.

Chances closer to zero of finding whether or not if its true,

like asking your shadow if it has a choice in whether or not to follow you.
