How Lonely it is

How Lonely it is

A Poem by R.Inc$

How lonely it is to sleep alone, to dream alone, to wake and see the sun alone.

How lonely it is to sit alone, and watch the world shift by like a blur alone.

How lonely it is to see reality bite down on the throat of your desires, ending hope in a flash.

Nothing is as lonely as watching your reflection turn to ash.

How lonely it is...

Well f**k loneliness, it's cold embrace, and fiery stare.

F**k the emptiness, the haziness, the death defying despair.

Loneliness can kiss my a*s as I pass by it on the street, for I leave loneliness poor, with no coin to keep.

No charity given for lonesomeness only takes, and why should I turn back to something that I forsake.

How lonely it is to sleep alone, to dream alone, to wake and see the sun alone.

I wouldn't know, for I am always with me, heart on my sleeve, and words by my side.

Ask loneliness, it should know that answer all too well.
