The Parking Space

The Parking Space

A Poem by Mr Alednac

I see the parking space on my property
Close to my front door.
I save the spot for someone to park,
But the space is always occupied.
Her car sits there day after day
Never making room for other cars.
Even with no one there
The space is always reserved.
I dare to not speak about the space
For fear of leaving forever.
I see the parking space on my property
And watch the other cars come and go.
