Red ink

Red ink

A Poem by Robin
"

...

"
Echoes of the Vedic prophecies

upon a weary dreamscape

Mankind buried

in a materialistic waste land

tilting the world into a playground

of the greedy

who ignore the needy

chasing the "God particle"

with an anti - what matter's attitude

a nano-mentality

a proiri  lost

Homosapien smugness

reaching critical mass

monetized and homogenized

nature be damned

in the name of the almighty   -

CONTROL

i seen a movie one time (ok: two times, coz it was good) and it was called "Instinct".
It's central theme was this.
i am biased, and when it comes to anything that shines a light on these matters, i tend to favour them. so, what can i say, except: thanks for sharing, Robin. i am heart glad to find stuff like this still in minds of other people.
may many more come and visit this piece!

You have a critical and idealistic position combined with a good and wide vocabulary all of which produces a good poem.Good work.

Ah... humanity as we know it tends to give me a headache. Funny how throughout history there are always those who control, those who wish to be controlled and those wedged inbetween. No matter what name it is they claim to come in, their actions speak so much louder than their words. You always recognize them by their fruits. A rotten tree never produces fine fruit. That truth will never change.
You speak your mind in volumes that leave me in awe.

'Echoes of the Vedic prophecies

sanskrit, that ancient language reminds us of the old world before all the greed and 'smugness' of the modern age and the prophecies themselves already true. this cuts through all the pretenses and the lies and paints the world as it is. leaves me feeling very sad :)

Everything has a twist, a reversal, and karma is around and with al of us... sharp words, clear images.
