Darts At The Heart

Darts At The Heart

A Poem by Robert Wallace
"

Such an unusual feeling...

"
Darts At The Heart

Today, I woke up floating
Not knowing who I needed to be

With all my moments of insight
I wasn't there
It was if I was someone else I couldn't see

I looked, nothing I had said, nothing I had done
Had formed this cavern of silent agony

Today I guess, I'll let time roll quietly past
As I slowly pull out the dart I found inside the heart of me
