Romance Gone (Haiku)

A Poem by Roseanne W.

Tears in red petals,
the rose dies, fades into grey,
their love wilts away.

I like how the poem starts with the image of the rose fading, and then progresses through its demise. That was a perfect way to lead into the final line which describes the passion of two lovers withering. This is a very nicely constructed little piece, and I enjoyed reading it.

Sweetly done, I clap
Bowing before you, hats off
Your smile prize enough.

GREAT JOB!
