ChristmasA Poem by RebekahThis is a poem I wrote about Christmas one year. I also had sent a copy to all my family members, instead of a card. It was really enjoyed by all.
Christmas:
Christmas doesn’t just come in boxes or bags.
It comes from the heart.
Decorations of red on a green Christmas tree.
Kids building snowmen and throwing snowballs at each other.
Kids dreaming of sugarplums and Santa’s 8 tiny reindeer.
Lights on the Christmas tree.
The candles lit and glowing in the windows.
The birth of Jesus Christ and making of Christmas.
People singing and they’ll sing and they’ll sing, sing, sing.
Eating Christmas food and they’ll feast and they’ll feast, feast, feast.
Boys and girls kissing under the mistletoe.
The season of giving and tidings of comfort and joy.
Kids dressed up like Eskimos.
Santa Claus with his 8 tiny reindeer giving kids gifts.
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
There is the most famous reindeer of all Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
Snow falling on the ground like a big white blanket.
It doesn’t have to come with anything at all just love for everyone.
Angels watch over you and help you celebrate the Christmas season.
It is the happiest season of all.
People on the streets caroling and ringing bells ring, ring, ringing.
Most wonderful time of the year.
Christmas
People have a lot of Christmas spirit.
A star on top of the tree waiting to be lit for everyone to see.
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen.
Grandma got ran over a reindeer.
Have a holly, jolly Christmas everyone.
