I like this one a lot too... Especially how you made the subtle change in the end... it is something I do too.. subtle changes always seem to impart the simplest and most evocative meanings to me..

I like what this poem is saying. I've a hard time grasping the line about suffocating lungs.. But maybe I just am not "seeing" it. Nice poem.

Thank you! The suffocating lungs part is sort of personal for me, because when I don't write poetry, I feel like my life is empty and it's as if I'm suffocating. Letting the words flow feels like I'm "giving breath to suffocating lungs". :]
