Another Empty MannequinA Poem by Rayne MurrayIt's a song so yeahIt's getting to the point where I can't count my own fingers, and my eyes are getting blurry I know I should stop right now, but my hands are in a hurry and I'm not sure that if I die before I wake that they'll lay me down for my soul to take I feel like i'm dying and my heart can't the lying yet i still cry all the time [I'm just another empty mannequin waiting for the show to begin i'm on a string and it's wearing thin but no one minds to pay attention i'm disposable another pawn beaten or broken I'm thrown in the pond i'm on a string and it's wearing thin but no minds to pay attention] I'm breaking down my heart has shattered to the ground and yet I'm still picking up the pieces scattered all around around i feel you heart beat and your skin is warm i feel so empty and the despair swarms and slowly my soul become another black hole waiting for another role [chorus] you can dress me up but i'm still their s**t no matter what kind of clothes i strut they've horny when they walk in they door and I know all they're looking for is a w***e i'm to do what they want and feel nothing and as I go up on stage I feel my voice catching [chorus] pay attention yeah i'm on a string and it' wearing thin and when it breaks ill be another mannequin whose show will never ever begin whose show will never begin you can try to rip apart my skin but all your find is broken porcelain and a hollow heart a hole at large you seem to think your the one in charge but you see i know your dirty secrets and it would be a shame if someone didn't keep it [chorus] so though i'm another empty mannequin the broken and old are breaking in soon you'll be another doll for us to shape and decorate for all I know you think you've got it large but we;re the ones in charge and when we break your skin all you find is broken porcelain you dirty secrets are getting out and no one seems to hear you shout you can feel they heart beat and their skin is warm and soon your despair starts to swarm and when your string start wearing thin no one one will care t pay attention now you're just another empty mannequin waiting for your show to begin when you're on a string and it's wearing thin no one will mind to pay attention you're now dispensible another pawn beaten or broken we'll throw you in the pond when you're on a string and it's wearing thin no one will mind to pay attention
