Worthless

Worthless

A Poem by Rayne Murray

You said i was worthless
When i didnt deserve it
You threw me away
Didn't care if I lived to see another day
You and I weren't meant to be
I felt it all along inside of me
You never really cared
Cause you were never really there
You promised everything from love to roses
But now I'm standing here going through all the poses
Looking back I should have seen all the signs
How could such a charming man ever be my guy
You sweet and polite
Used to dream about you all night
But You said i was worthless
When i didnt deserve it
You threw me away
Didn't care if I lived to see another day
Now here I am feeling sad and lonely
when it was really your heartless ways that made me feel so lowly
I know better then to blame myself
But baby now I can't seem to take my heart off the shelf
Cause You said i was worthless
When i didnt deserve it
You threw me away
Didn't care if I lived to see another day
And I know better then to blame myself
But baby now I can't seem to take my heart off the shelf
Now here I am feeling sad and lonely
when it was really your heartless ways that made me feel so lowly
You promised everything from love to roses
But now I'm standing here going through all the poses
Looking back I should have seen all the signs
How could such a charming man ever be my guy
You sweet and polite
Used to dream about you all night
But then you said i was worthless
When i didnt deserve it
You threw me away
Didn't care if I lived to see another day
