Sister Love

Sister Love

A Poem by Ray

You're like the sister that I never had
Always looked out for me
Yeah I got a sister from my dad
But she live miles away from me
Yeah I love her too
Like I love you
You was a gift sent to me
To help me make it through
This journey of life
The way you took me in
When I was all alone
Was like taking me from darkness
And throwing me in a light dome
Always lending me a hand
I could never understand
Why you did what you did
But I appreciate it though
You reminded me of my home
And my younger sibling at that
It was kinda weird
I was diggin it like a tat
Diggin in ya skin to make an imprint in it
Something like what you did to my memory you could bet I won't forget it
