Insert title hereA Poem by Raymond Federlea descriptionWhat matters what I write? For whom is it written? As if by transcribing my thoughts upon the screen I might obtain absolution. I might make sense of my life. I might be able to put all things in an ordered perspective. For me there is nothing beyond this time. I truly am here now. I exist. Clueless as to the unforeseeable future moments away. There is a certain peace in the emptiness of now. I find peace comes with the price of solitude and loneliness. My mind is restless and wandering. My heart is full yet it aches past measure. My path is clear but directionless and uncharted. I'm cast adrift within the conscious thoughts of myself and hope to reach that far distant shore of reason and hope. © 2015 Raymond Federle |
