Warm Solace

Warm Solace

A Poem by Raymond Federle
"

Warm Solace

"

Bare out your soul
and feed me your heart.
Tell me of your love for me,
like I will never forget.

Allure me with truth.
Play fair and above the belt.
Tease me peacefully
and teach me to fly.

Be just around the corner

when I come home.
Console me with spirit and I'll
hold my breath for your kiss.

I'll hide under my blankets till
you surprise me with touch.
Motionless and waiting.

Warm breath on my neck.

You surprise me with your romantic spirit, Raymond. Truly lovely.

thanks Pryde!!!:)
I don't often read a romantic poem by you, but this is lovely. I love the soft feel of your words..almost like floating in a dream. I like this side of you Raymond!

This is crafted beautifully. There is a soft and languid cadence to your words. Love does not all happen in the physical world. I love the graphic as well, it speaks to the tenderness of this piece.
