What if I was more than you'd expect of me?

If I was stronger or taller or better in bed?

What if I was thinner,

straighter and more handsome?

But you don't see what I am.

What if I was smarter and more agile?

If I was not so emotional,

cynical and weak.

What if I was happy, playful and excited?

But you don't see how I am.

I'm not just nothing.

I'm not invisible.

 I can see my own reflection.

How can you just look right through me?

What if i was more than you'd imagine?

If I was perfect, clean and so straight laced?

What if I was sensitive caring and truthful?

But you don't see past what I am.

What if I was so perfectly normal?

If I was cooler or hipper to hang around?

What if I was cuter, sexy and so sweet?

 But you don't see past what I am.

Nice one :) We all want to be seen and loved for who we are on the inside. There's always more than what meets the eyes, though it takes effort to distinguish and some have less patience.

A great poem about love. All of this is pretty true: many people judge by looks and first appearances than what they might find inside if they give that person a chance. Exceptional!
