The Lonely Man

as we stand in a blink of time

a flash of short lived futility

pondering life's meaning

 survival in these days of corruption

it is the survival of spirit

the will to live is crushed

the masses suffer

evil inside the hearts of men destroys all

apocalyptic politics consume

resulting in chaotic destruction

the lonely man endures

perhaps to survive unscaved is to blot out, like codeine to delirium this world of trouble and confusion.
Evil and greed has been renamed as powerseeker and ambitious, especially in corporate America,
and the results are 38000 people lined up in a hot gymnasium in LA waiting for Bank of America
to redo their mortgages.

this is a tremendously important poem.
