Death in Vain

Death in Vain

A Poem by Raymond Federle

Your shallow heart echoes your cries.
So you give yourself airs with these lies upon lies.
And when all of the vanity, sinks deep to insanity,
And devours your thoughts in demise.

"when all of the vanity, sinks deep to insanity"

Wow, powerful verse... That is why I always maintain my balance if not, I'll fall into the pit of darkness, then it will be hard for me to climb back again. A very dark piece, very nice!

Oh wow, I like this one, succinct and flips you over in it's taunting dark emotions. Devoured indeed.
