My Exlover

A poemish thing I wrote late at night Sorry for any typos I wrote it on my ohone and my spell checj.is finicky

My ex-lover is in confidiment
. They've locked away the key.
I'm glad I walked away before he could.blame me.

Oh, my ex-lover has been sent away,they've thrown away the key
they've put him somewhere where he'll never find me!

Oh my, I'm glad I walked away when my mother told me because if I stayed i don't know what id do.

Oh he's been sent away,far away from me.
they've locked him away and thrown away the key.

.Oh my ex-lover has been taken away,out of society.
the reason why they've taken him away, don't ask me.

Oh he's struggled with the law for some time after me.
He got.in a disagreement with his.mother.
the cops were called.
He's fought a cop and bit another.
Hes even hit his mother.
but now he'll.have no lover,at least not me because I walked away when my gut told me.'run away,run away, run away from him! He'll only break your heart, and make your mind thin, you'll.be sent to the nuthouse surely before him!'
so I walked away from my lover,just has my gut said.
i broke away from him, before he entered bed.
I said, 'I can't do this anymore, this is such a chore.
All you do is cheat you dirty w***e. I am leaving, this very day, I'm going to.pack my bags and then im going to run away.'

A very deep poem you've written here my dear! It's pretty self explanatory and you have a lot of repetition that helps get the main point across to the reader throughout. Love is a powerful emotion and can be painful. It's good you got out when you did, as you said! I believe poetry is also a beautiful way to tell a story about your life. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much! I am very glad I got.out when I did especially with his recent drama....which this poem.is about....he literally had a meltdown, abused his.mother, got the cops callled on him, then he ounched a cop and bit another then he was arrested. Then he was stedated for a few days and he woke up in a group home
