The Story of My Ex

This is a poem about my ex became my ex.

This is a letter to my ex,
someone who I held so dear.

Our time together came to a close,
4 months ago.

I was tired of all the lies that you spoke to me while looking into.my eyes.
You claimed you loved me, as we laid in bed.
But the woman you loved later that night was someone totally different instead.

You claimed I was your one and only girl,
But I wasn't.

You not only had another girl,
You had many girls, not just me.
And when I found out, it really hurt me.

I gave you my love,
they gave you sex.

I was forgiving until what you did next.
You didn't tell me about all of them,
You kept some secrets hidden inside.

A baby on the way,
Broke the seal.

And when you told me,
you thought it wouldn't be such a big deal.

You expected me to forgive you, like I did before.
But I couldn't take it,
loving you was no longer a pleasure, it became a chore.

You continued to hurt me,
As bitterness florished inside of me.
Our love was no longer pure,
It was a misery I had to endure.

I tried to forgive you again,
really I did.
But you nearly brought a child into this world,
that wasn't mine to bare.

You wanted me to forgive you,
and at a price you didn't care.

I gave you another chance.
Out of the many I gave away,
I didn't want to hurt you,
But I had to get away.

And then one day,
a friend came by,with anger, fear and a tear in her eye.

You wanted her to be next,
The next on your sex list.

The next girl on your speed dial,
To call when you wanted to get it on.

And when I found out,
want to know what happened next?
This is the story of how you became my ex.
