The Pursuit of Happiness for an Unhappy manA Poem by Soul Fire
They say actions speak louder than words.
But when you act, It's like your blindfolded to the consquences of your actions. When things go wrong, you blame me. You're an adult, you claim. But when you act like a little kid, its hard to believe your 42. You speak lies and expect me to believe you, You're so full of it. You point fingers and blame others. You won't accept your part, accept your s**t. You have to drown everyone in your own misery. You can't just be happy. You're never satisfied, You always want more. Entertaining you with my pain is such a chore. Watching you enjoying it, disturbs me even more. You just take, take, take, and take. For temporary happiness, and I know why. Deep inside you hate yourself, Deep inside your bitter. You've tried following your dreams, You've tried so hard. You've fallen face first on pavement, couldn't take it anymore. Inside, you're just a quitter. Bitterness consumes you. You'll never be happy, Until everyone else isn't. But I will not take this, I will not take this anymore. I am not your path to your pursuit of happiness, I will not be a victim anymore. I shall pack my bags and I shall leave you be, Leave you be, in your misery.
