Waiting

A poem I've written about waiting..and recovery and all the waiting i do

Waiting to wake up

Waiting to get dressed,

Waiting for people to make up,

Waiting for deodrant,

Waiting for breakfast,

Waiting for a shower,

Waiting for a text message,

Waiting for a friend to answer,

Waiting for someone to reply,

Waiting for a phone call,

I don't want to say ''Goodbye''

Missing all my friends,

and life the way it was before.

I like my new life, but sometimes it's a bore!

Waiting for my mother to make me some lunch,

Waiting for a visit from someone,

Feeling so lost and out of touch.

God, I miss you so much.

Waiting for a message on my facebook timeline,

Waiting for my clothes to be off the line.

Waiting for a cure,

Waiting for some sunshine.

Waiting for my healing

Waiting for some hope,

Waiting for people to stop grieving,

Waiting for them to cope.

Waiting for a phone call from someone who cares.

I don't care who, just to know someones there.

Waiting for notifications on my blog.

Feeling so worthless,

As lazy as a log.

Just sitting here waiting for something to change,

Maybe I'll watch a movie, or buy something online.

Waiting for time to pass,

When it's dragging so slow.

I want this life to last,

But where did everyone go?

Feeling so lonely.

Am I a bother to you?

I'm sorry if I annoyed you,

I just need someone too.

I want someone to notice me,

Someone to care.

Someone to step out of the crowd and say '' Hey you over there!''

I am so completely wiery of this waiting.

All I do is wait.

I wait in the morning,

and in the afternoon,

I wait in the evening and at bedtime too..

I wait while I sleep for sunlight to bloom.

But most of all I wait to see you!

Thank you, it's about me recovering from major surgery and how dependent I've had to become on others, which is totally against my nature so I don't like it so much
