I miss you

A poem about missing someone you love and care about. Inspired by a friend of mine who lost her battle to cancer.

Missing you,

Missing your face,

Life without you is so out of place.

I know you suffered greatly in life,

But life with you, was the greatest of times.

I see your family moving your stuff,

packing up your house,

Throwing things away.

It's so sad, things are this way.

I'm happy you are no longer in pain,

I will not leave your memory in vain.

I know I should be happy that you no longer are in pain.

But living without you..isn't the same

I'm happy you no longer have to suffer,

and wear those itchy wigs.

I'm happy you are up there safe and sound.

I just miss you being around.

IYour spirit left this earth before I could say goodbye,

The world changed in a blink of an eye.

You lost your battle to cancer,

You didn't have much time.

I'm just glad I could make you smile so you would no longer cry.

I'm just sad, 

I never said ''Goodbye''
