A tribute to all the veterans out there, and those who severed, as well as lost your lives. For this I am eternally grateful, thank you.

And for these reasons I'll wear a poppy and think of you.

It's time for you to rest, the war is done.

Thank you for all you've done,

and all the wounds you carry.

Thank you for giving me the rights to choose who I want to marry.

Thank you for giving me a reason to fight for what's right.

Thank you for fighting so I can be free.

Thank you for giving me the freedom to be me.

Thank you, my friend for all you've done,

And what you continue to do,

Without you my friend, I do not know what I would do.
