Hiding a secret,

Even from myself.

Locked inside,

From everyone else.

They’d think I’m strange, 

if someone knew.

They’d think I’m crazy,

Wouldn’t you?

They’d lock me up,

And throw away the key.

They’d put me in a straight jacket,

Give me pills to sleep all day.

If only I’d accept it,

And maybe then it’d go away.

I’ll keep it to myself,

And not trust a soul.

How do I know,

If I’m not the psycho I fear?

I guess we’ll never know my dear

wowww. this is really great poem. we all have a dark side inside of us. we fear that a ray of light may reach it so we tightly lock on it. sometimes we may hate even to think of it as if thinking of it will affect the secret privacy...
i really really loved this poem..simple in words but it has very nice music and it is related to every human being even if they try to hide it..
