Plastic Faces

Plastic Faces

A Poem by Soul Fire

She wants to be like everybody else,
She is uncomfortable being herself.

Secretly wishing she was someone else.
But what she doesn't realize is shes beautifully herself.

She tries to be like everyone around.
She copies the clothes, hairstyles like all the girls in town.

She wears makeup always,
Expect when no ones around to see.

She is uncomfortable being herself.
So she lies  to everyone.

She keeps her true-self locked away,
Until someone accepts her for the way she is.

She will not open up.

Not even for a kiss.

So to all the beautiful girls who do this,
Stop it right now.
Being yourself is true bliss.
Stop trying to be somebody else.
You are perfect just being yourself.
