Fallen

I've made so many mistakes.

I've hurt so many people.

I've failed so many of the ones I love,

I've failed my Father above.

I should have listened to my instincts,

Instead of doing the things I did.

I was such a stupid kid.

I have not forgiven myself for the things I've done.

I should have listened instead of doing the things that I've done.

But now I've moved on,

I'm not the person I once was.

Now I'm living no matter the stakes.

I'm going to do what it takes.

I am no longer fallen,

I'm going to rise above the pain.

I have nothing to loose,

everything to gain.

I'm not afraid to make things right,

Those mistakes and regrets are out of sight.

This is my life,

I am going to live like I'm living.

I'm going to stop grieving and start giving.

I know I can make things right.

Just watch me,

As I disappear from sight.
