Reflections-Second look

Reflections-Second look

A Poem by Soul Fire
"

A poem about reflecting on yourself before you blame others.

"
You've called me every name in the book.
Look in the  mirror,
Your reflection are you proud of how you look?

You like the play the blame game,
but I know the truth.

I never did anything to deserve what you took from me.

You like to play the blame game,
You like to put me to shame,
But really you are the one to blame.

I don't mean to continue the cycle,
But I think you should know;
What you took from me,
What you did to me,
Deserves a second thought,
Before you blame me,
Take a second look.

You like to play the blame game,
You like to be immature.

But I don't want to play your game,
This procedure died a long time ago,
Now let it go.

Leave me alone.

Grow up,
Move forward,
From this stupid game,
You are the one who should be put to shame.
