Enjoy the Movie

A disturbing and morbid poem I created. Based off the Auora, Colorado movie theature shooting.I wrote it in the perspective of both the shooter and the victims.I must warn you it is very disturbing.

Enjoy the movie,

It’ll be fun,

Watch out that man has a gun.

People run.

As his trigger thinks this is fun.

His finger on the trigger pointed at people.

What do we do?

We just wanted to watch a movie..

This isn’t fun, this isn’t fun anymore.

What do we do|?

He’s coming for us,

The shots blaze.

His evil laugh,

He’s mentally in a daze.

People are screaming,

As I sit there and watch,

My popcorn is so tasty,

As I look at my watch.

12 o’clock ,midnight.

Perfectly precise.

What a wonderful evening for a murder, tonight.

He takes his gun,

And points it at me.

I block a child,

As he misses me.

He goes for the children,

Then the girl.

Now they’re asleep, lifeless on the floor.

The murderer laughs, like the devil would.

I would run, if I could.

I lay beside this lifeless stranger.

Never thought stranger danger would be this much.

I lie there, pretending to die.

Then I notice the twinkle in the murderer’s eye.

He smiles, in a disturbing way.

Oh s**t, I say.

As he points the gun my way.

I hear  a gun shot.

As I’m dead.

I’m just a deer in his head.

He laughs like all the villains‘,

I learned to hate, learned to love.

He’s the devil, sent here.

From Satan below.

Goodbye world.

As I say, with one final breathe,

As I go.

Away.

The incident in Colorado can't effect how we think. Many dangers in life. Driving a car is the most dangerous thing we do. Are we going to be afraid to drive? A powerful poem. It is sad when people are killed for no reasons. I pray for better days where people use common sense and death is not a part of our life. Thank you for the excellent poem.
