A Tragedy

A Tragedy

A Poem by RayLynn

This is the story of a boy and a girl

His love grew from her heart because she gave so much

He fell for her before she fell for him

They laughed and cried and made mistakes and created memories and truly lived

Now though, his ears aren’t filled with her small giggles, his eyes aren’t delighted by her beauty, his heart doesn’t pound for her touch, and his soul isn’t filled with her happiness

The taste of her memory leaves poison on his tongue

Turns out the very thing he fell in love with made him want to leave;

Smothered, spoiled, unworthy of her love and joy

His head swarms with all his insecurities and now he lives alone to avoid causing damage to the only one who could repair it

What a tragedy it is when the one who loves the most loses the thing she loved so much, and all for what?

A poem but yet a true story in the lives of many in this world. Great job!

The giving love does nothing but take, fake, snake, slither at stake. There is nothing more tragic than giving, even if it seems like the nicest thing to do. Dont do it
